Naji AlAli
Charlotte, NC

Naji AlAli, is a 22-year-old artist from Palestine, that was born in Dubai, raised in Qatar, and moved to Charlotte in 2017 after taking a gap year in Amman, Jordan.
“In my gap year I worked on my art more professionally but I always drew, painted, and created things growing up, being named after a Palestinian cartoonist pushed me to pursue art further when I was younger. When I moved to Charlotte I began my arts associates at CPCC and started my brand Lemonback; a clothing brand based on the artwork that I make, along with painting murals, animating, and sculpting I have been developing different mediums to express my art. Filmmaking was always something else I really enjoyed doing, which helped me document a lot of the artwork that I made.”
